Broadwater is a 2,200 square foot contemporary modern home designed with a restrained, dark material palette that allows the architecture to quietly recede into its natural surroundings. Set within a wooded landscape, the home prioritizes integration with site over visual dominance, resulting in a calm and grounded residential retreat.

The design includes three bedrooms and two bathrooms, arranged within a clear and efficient two-level layout. Strong rectilinear forms and clean lines define the architecture, while deep overhangs and recessed openings create shadow, depth, and visual softness across the exterior elevations.

Material selection plays a central role in the project. Dark cladding and muted finishes are paired with warm natural textures, helping the home blend seamlessly with the surrounding trees and seasonal foliage. Large areas of glazing are carefully positioned to frame views outward while maintaining privacy and reinforcing the connection between interior spaces and the landscape beyond.
