Cynth Creek

2800 square-foot Modern Farmhouse in Hiawassee, Georgia.

Contractor : 4M Construction

Partnered : Reynard Custom Homes

Cynth Creek is a 2800 square foot modern farmhouse located in Hiawassee, Georgia, set on land that has been owned by the client’s family for generations. Designed as a long-term family home, the project reflects both a deep connection to place and the practical needs of a multi-generational household.

The home includes four bedrooms and three bathrooms, organized around a double-height central living space that forms the heart of the house. This light-filled volume creates a strong sense of openness while anchoring daily family life. Surrounding living spaces flow naturally from this core, supporting both everyday use and larger family gatherings.

A wrap-around deck on the lower level extends the living areas outdoors, encouraging year-round connection to the landscape and reinforcing the farmhouse character of the home. The generous outdoor spaces provide multiple zones for relaxing, entertaining, and enjoying the rural North Georgia setting.

Complementing the main living spaces is a large three-car garage, designed to function as more than just vehicle storage. When not filled with cars, it doubles as a workshop and informal play space, reflecting the flexible, family-oriented nature of the home.

Cynth Creek embodies a thoughtful approach to custom home design in North Georgia, balancing tradition and modern living. The result is a modern farmhouse that honors family history, supports everyday life, and is designed to adapt as the needs of the family evolve over time.
