Stella Luna

1300 square-foot stunning A-Frame built amoung the mountains in Sevierville, Tennessee.

Contractor : H. Grey Custom Homes

Partnered : Reynard Custom Homes

Stella Luna is a bespoke 1,300 square foot A-frame retreat designed specifically for short-term rental living in the mountains of East Tennessee. Conceived as an immersive getaway for visitors seeking nature, privacy, and character, the home balances bold architectural form with warm, highly curated interiors.

The iconic A-frame profile establishes a strong presence within the wooded site, while dark exterior finishes and a dramatic metal roof allow the structure to recede into the forest. A generous wraparound deck extends the living space outward, creating multiple outdoor zones for gathering, dining, and quiet retreat among the trees.

Inside, the design emphasizes vertical volume and openness. Vaulted ceilings, exposed wood structure, and large expanses of glazing bring in natural light and frame views of the surrounding landscape. The open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area is compact yet efficient, intentionally designed to feel expansive without excess square footage.

The home includes two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with sleeping spaces positioned to balance privacy and connection. Thoughtful material choices and custom detailing elevate the experience throughout, from the bold tiled bathroom to the warm wood ceilings and carefully scaled furnishings. Every element was considered through the lens of durability, comfort, and visual impact, key factors for successful short-term rental design.

Stella Luna reflects our approach to custom mountain architecture and vacation rental design: distinctive forms, efficient planning, and spaces that create memorable experiences for both owners and guests, all while remaining grounded in buildability and site responsiveness.
