Panorama is an Asian-inspired contemporary home set on a private, wooded site overlooking the Towaliga River. Designed as an intimate retreat within the landscape, the home is approximately 3000 square feet, arranged over two levels with four bedrooms and three bathrooms.

The architecture is defined by strong horizontal lines and deep roof eaves, which provide shade, shelter, and a calm visual rhythm while reinforcing the connection between the home and its natural surroundings. These extended eaves frame outdoor spaces and soften the transition between interior rooms and the forest beyond, creating a sense of enclosure without isolation.

Both levels feature open-plan living spaces, allowing the home to function flexibly while maintaining visual continuity throughout. Large glazed openings are carefully positioned to capture filtered light, views of the surrounding trees, and glimpses of the river, while preserving privacy and a quiet, inward-looking atmosphere.

Material choices and proportions draw from Asian design principles, emphasizing balance, simplicity, and connection to nature. The result is a contemporary home that feels grounded and serene, offering layered living spaces that respond thoughtfully to site, climate, and views.

Panorama reflects a refined approach to custom home design in North Georgia, where architecture works in harmony with landscape to create a private, contemplative living environment rooted in its setting.
