Spain Treehouse is a bespoke 1,000 square foot treehouse located on Spain Road in Snellville, Georgia, taking its name directly from the property itself. Conceived as a short-term rental retreat, the project blends European character with a playful, elevated relationship to the surrounding landscape.
The home is organized around a double-height central living space, where tall bookcases span both levels, creating a dramatic vertical interior that feels both intimate and grand. This volume forms the heart of the treehouse, filling the interior with light and reinforcing the sense of living among the trees.
An open bedroom on the upper level overlooks the main living space below, maintaining visual connection throughout the compact footprint while enhancing the feeling of openness. One of the most distinctive features is the turret, which projects off the front of the structure and houses a quiet reading nook, suspended slightly away from the main volume and offering a unique perch within the canopy.
Designed as a destination in itself, Spain Treehouse balances novelty with thoughtful spatial planning. The result is a highly memorable, European-inspired retreat that feels both whimsical and refined—an elevated escape carefully tailored for short-term living and immersive experiences in nature.
